Just Some of the Walks From The Town's Website

Corsavy

Walk duration : 4 hrs -
Difference in height : 700 meters.

A countryside hike with a beautiful panorama on the Belmaig and the plain of the Roussillon; and the ruins of a former Catalan forge.
Starts from Arles by the GR10, heading in the direction of Batère, the Canigou.

Pilon of Belmaig

Walk duration : 6 hrs
Difference in height : 1005 meters
The mythical mountain of Arles dominates the whole southern chain.
In early spring one of the greatest mountain races in the region takes place here.

Santa Engracia

Walk duration : 4 hrs - Difference in height : 630 meters.
A hike on the mountain chain south of Arles-sur-Tech ; the Batterie de Santa-Engracia gives a lovely view of the 'Roc of France'.

Cycling - Hills and Scenery.

Whether you want to seriously test yourself on mountain roads, or take a more leisurely cycle through woods and scenery, the area has plenty to offer.
There are a number of cycle-hire shops in the area, and you'll see lots of wannabe yellow jerseys pedalling furiously in the sunshine. And what's more - motorists actually treat cyclists with respect here!

Golf - no flat courses here!

For those into golf, there is the spectacular Domaine de Falgos.
It sits right on the border with Spain. The 18-hole course (par 70, 5047m) is fairly demanding and has fabulous views across the Bay of Roses in Spain and Mount Canigou in France.
Aside from a number of other 18-hole courses just across the border and towards the coast, there are also 9-hole courses locally at Amelie Les Bains and at Camprodon.

Horse Riding

If you fancy horse riding, you will find a number of riding centres. As well as hourly hire, some of them also arrange daily trips on horseback or longer trips with accommodation.
